To Have and to Hold, my first published book, by Ulverscroft in large print for libraries. Originally it started life as a full length novel of 120,000 words, which had taken me years to write. I enjoyed researching local history set in the Victorian era, which, at that time, took over my life. So somewhere in a drawer, lies a full length manuscript. Set in the old town of Hull within the tightknit community of fisherfolk. It is the story of Hannah, the eldest sibling who cares for them after the death of their parents. She meets the handsome Danish immigrant, Christian. But happiness and life hit a bumpy road, and their paths diverge. Will their paths ever cross again?
